Our Roots
Tend took root in 2015 when our founders were looking for an efficient method to manage their own production and realized that many growers were still reliant on spreadsheets.
There had to be a better way. So we built it: an easy-to-use web and mobile app to crop plan, manage day-to-day tasks, wrangle inventory, sell more produce, and easily track the important data throughout the season.
The Tend team worked closely with farmers, gathering and incorporating their feedback in order to create a product built directly upon the needs of the diversified grower. Then, in 2017, we launched Tend 1.0 into the world.
Our Growth
In 2021, our team—with expertise in agriculture, data science, and software engineering—embarked on the ambitious journey to create Tend 2.0: a first-of-its-kind farm management software.
Dedicated to this vision, we invested over four years in development and beta testing with growers across the globe to build the most powerful and user-friendly farm management software ever designed.
Proudly, in 2024, we released Tend 2.0.
